In the span of 5 days,
- I had my very first experience of having breakfast/lunch by myself. It felt kinda weird because there's an unfamiliar face everywhere you turn
- I've met the media from various countries participating in the games
- I've met some of the athletes
- Oh my, guys from the 'Stan' countries are so cute! Some speak Russian
(Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan) - I think walking past the same person more than once a day for 5 days is weird!
(A police officer actually stopped me and asked me why I look so scared everytime I walked pass him. Fail. HAHAHA.) - The early mornings make me hungry, good way to gain weight!
- There were awesome pastries and desserts to pamper my stomach
- I didn't get to collect more badges from the different countries
- I've become a pro at photocopying papers
- We (Hazwan, Eve and I) got free cab rides to the hotel every morning
- I got to see how events are carried out
- I got to see how PR relations work
Oh there's more!
PRANKED.
- How can I forget about my 2 failed attempts at prank calling Gary who was stationed at Toa Payoh stadium? My laughter was a dead give away and he saved the number the first time Hazwan pranked him.
- The third time kinda worked because Eve's very good at her fillipino accent and there was another phone line. HAHA
- Gary's attempt at getting back at me also failed big time!
- I received another call by an unknown number and the person on the other side of the line said I won lottery (with that fillipino accent again). I really thought Gary was behind that. Turns out, it was my class and Mdm Nora was involved too.
- Shortly after, we decided to prank Mdm Nora and she almost bought our story because she sounded so serious over the phone. HAHAHA.
I've never received and made so many prank calls in my life in the span of 1 week. Awesome.
Oh well, it's the little things like these that brightens up a tiring day.
OVERALL, AN EYE-OPENER~
