Asian Youth Games Appreciation Night
Indoor Stadium (Kallang)

As far as it was, I attended. If not for the other 2 westies who went (Wenting & Dexter) and a free ride from Ms Kwa to the stadium, I would've been too lazy to go. Yah, nothing but the truth. HAHA.

I finally knew why they allocated 2 hours for registration because ALL of the volunteers were invited. I got my certificate, my ticket and my goodie bag (which contained food, Frasia the lion mascot plushie and drinks).

Sat with Mai, Wenting and Vera. Dexter had special privileges because he's like part of the media 'group'. Then he kept showing off but we ended up sitting together. HAHAHA.

They said that there would be a performance by an international artiste. Turned out to be Stefanie Sun. Since her concert was the following day, I guessed performing for us was like her full dress rehearsal.

The thing was, I didn't expect her to perform so many songs. It's like we're watching her whole concert for free. We didn't stay throughout as it was getting late and Dexter was hungry.

This was the set, quite creative.

According to Wenting, we were sitting at the second most expensive seats that people were willing to pay $151 for. Awesome!

Never in my life would I imagine that I'd ever attend a Chinese concert. Oh but she did sing one English song, Billy Joel's - And So It Goes.
