HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY SANGEETHA!
I've been looking forward to this weekend since last week and I can't believe I missed it. Yes, I missed the candlelight service!
Well, I was all ready and prepared to leave my house when something came up and caused me to miss it. Of course I did regret that decision but I had no choice.
I made full use of my resources at home and connected my Macbook to my teevee in the living room to watch the live webcast of the service (being physically there with my cell group would have been 100 times better).
Though, I saw everything through a LCD screen (volume turned up and full screen to build atmosphere), I can still feel the presence of God so strongly. I started weeping when everyone held on to their lighted candle and sang Silent Night in the auditorium.
No, it wasn't because I was sulking over me not having any candle to hold/light. Even my maid, Lisa started to tear.
The feeling was incredible. I felt so down for not being there to experience it first hand but somehow in my heart, I felt so loved and assured of everything there is to come. Thank God there'll be another candlelight service on the 24th and I hope I'll be able to spend my Christmas eve with my cell group members :)
