MAGHAIN ABOTH SYNAGOGUE

Yesterday was quite a learning journey because we went to a synagogue at Waterloo street.

Question: What is a synagogue?
A synagogue is a Jewish house of prayer.

It's for our Understanding Cross Cultural Diversity (UCCD) CA 1, to visit a place of worship that's not of your own religion and write an 8 page report. How nice. LOL.

We had to take photos while we were there but we were not allowed to take photos inside the synagogue itself. So I'm sorry guys, you should have been there to see it. Like how many people will ever get a chance to see/step into a synagogue? Very few I must say. Cool~

between 2 of us. NOT KIDDING.
Before we left, I can't help it.

Yes, in a nutshell, that's our quite fruitful trip to the Maghain Aboth synagogue. Hehehe. But that's not all, we gotta call the Rabbi and ask him several questions on Monday. That may be quite interesting too.

When we called the synagogue, they had this automatic response thing that went
"Thank your for calling Maghain Aboth syanagogue, press '1' for Rabbi"
Cool huh. :)
