INSPIRE CAMP 2008
Friday, June 13, 2008 1:17 am

I'm back people!

I've had so much fun during Inspire Camp. LOL. Everyone was super HIGH. Our cell group was under Shamgar(Green group) and my group leaders were Isaac and Claris. LOL. My group's kinda special because it consisted of overaged people. :D

This camp was organised mainly for the secondary school people but there are people like me who went. This explains why my group had people aged between 16-21years old. Despite that, I sure had my share of fun! I shouted A LOT. Heh heh heh.

It was held at the MOE Dairy Farm Adventure Centre (No, it's not a farm and no there were no cows. HAHA)

The games were really fun and creative. LOL. I've never played this anywhere else. There was this one game I'll never forget. It's similar to Captain's Ball but different objects will be thrown into the playing area and each item is worth different points. Everyone had to be involved, so it was kinda chaotic. LOL. The best part was of course towards the end

BECAUSE...

THEY THREW IN A WHOLE RAW CHICKEN BOUGHT FROM COLD STORAGE!
HAHAHA. It was gross and funny! Very soon, the chicken was in pieces. Eg. the head was flying around and the wings were flying around. LOL!

The area we played in was called the quarry. It was was really breathtaking. We went there on our night walk (the trail through the forested area was pitch black only the light sticks can be seen). When we reached the final destination of our night walk, the quarry looked quite different from what I saw in the afternoon. I was awestruck by how marvelous the stars looked that night. I don't think I've ever seen so many stars before. I wouldn't mind lying on the grass and gaze at the stars if the grass wasn't wet (probably due to dew. LOL. Putting Understanding Weather into GOOD use.) Can just stare and marvel at the creation of God. :D

Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to take many photos. LOL. I took most of them during Haute Couture, which was held on the second evening!

My hair's really ugly. LOL. Yes, like a lion's mane. LOL Need damage control. Pronto!

And that was the end of Day 2.

I made my way back to Kranji for band practice on Day 3 morning after breakfast. It was raining like crazehh! I felt so pathetic walking under the heavy rain with so many stuff. HAHA. I got so fed up with my hair, I bunned it and wore a cap over it. LOL. Looked funny but I didn't care, for the first time in my life! HAHAHA. I went back to Kranji and people asked what's with the cap. Quite embarrassing but my hair really ugly. HAHAHAHA. No doubt I was still high having slept at 3am the night before. LOL. During lunch with band, I so badly wanted to do Shamgar's makan cheer. HAHAHA. Too bad no one as enthusiastic as me :D

This is to prove that I'm in fact QUITE strong. HAHA
I CAN PLAY THE FLUTE! SERIOUSLY!
People who play drums are QUITE cool right? HAHAHA
This wins hands down. After carrying for barely 5 minutes,
I began screaming for Kenny to take it away from me.
HAHAHA. Very lousy.

Ok, It's late already and I've got a concert at 730pm! Hehehehe. Toodles! :D

XOXO, SMK
