Yes I managed to rush down to Kranji for the farewell lunch. Yes, I took a photo with Sir Shai. Other alumni were there too, the oldest being Azmi.

Come to think of it, I was under Sir Shai's and Sir Badrul's baton for my whole 4 years in KSB. WOW. Sir Shai came to replace Sir Faizal when I was in Secondary 1. At first many could not come to terms with it because Sir Faizal was with them for quite some time if I'm not wrong. I can still remember people saying that Sir Shai was biased and he liked the flute section and kept picking on the clarinetists. LOL. They also said that he liked the saxophone section because of me. HAHAHA. It's really funny. Throughout that time I thought he's a really nice guy although he labeled the saxophone section as the gossip section, which was partly true. Hehehe. Seriously, no one's perfect! Once you look past a person's flaws, you'll find that there is in fact a lot of things we can learn from them.

It's really sad to see him leave the band. During his farewell speech, I nearly teared. Then there was the video and some thank you speeches made by the students and teachers. Some of them really broke down that was when tears started swelling up in my eyes. Goodness I'm so gonna miss him. Well, it's not his fault though. I kinda know a bit of the inside story. Let's not point fingers alright but deep down everyone knows who. LOL. Argh, so irritating. If Sir Badrul leaves, I'm seriously not going back for band anymore.
