Yesterday was my first day at work! *sense of achievement* I was feeling quite nervous at first because I really don't know what to expect. Moreover, it's my first job. Blur as can be, I really didn't know how to set up the table. What's more, my partner was nowhere to be found! I ended up walking around trying to ask for help. Thank goodness, the people there were very nice to me :)
At last, my partner showed up after helping out with the cake-cutting ceremony downstairs. Luckily he's very patient, although the function's about to start and nothing's really done yet.
Everthing went on quite smoothly and thank goodness I didn't spill drinks on any guests. The guests were nice and funny too. There was one who even asked me if I wore the wrong nametag! By the way, my nametag says "SHIRLEY KOH". Yeah, the surname's there on purpose. :D
I told him it was my name and he was pleasantly surprised. There were many other people who were also curious and some guests even tried guessing what combination of races I was. Hahaha. There were some other "inside" stuff that amused me. Hahaha.. i shan't talk about it here :)
I managed to reach home at 1am after running and chasing and missing my last trains to running for the bus with Isaac and Khoon Fai to flagging down a cab. Gosh, what a day. I'm shagged.
