Today's such a great day!

I was supposed to meet up with band members at 3.30pm to go to Victoria Concert Hall together for Singapore Wind Symphony (SWS) concert to give Sir Badrul moral support! Haha. As usual, I was late and Kenny was rushing me all the way from Causeway Point to Choa Chu Kang MRT station. I realised that most of the people had already left for VCH except for 2 very nice people who waited for me! THANK YOU KENNY AND IZWANIZAH! :)

When we reached the hall, we realised that there were so many extra tickets. Eversince Poly started, my budget seemed kind of tight. I'm sure Kenny shares the same sentiments. Since it's free, the 3 of us took advantage of it! By the way, the price per ticket is $10 but Kranji decided to subsidise 60%, so it was reduced to $4 and finally we got in for FREE! :P

Our seats did not get us a good view of the stage, can't even see sir. LOL. No hidden meaning intended. The boy seated in front of me had his head blocking my view! Not good. It was noisy too. Just can't stand it when the audience don't have concert etiquette, especially one which consists of primary school kids. They just can't appreciate music, at least not now. During the interval, we went up to the second deck to get better seats. Alas, to our dismay, there were more primary school kids! LOL. However, there were 3 rows which had "Reserved" stickers on each seat. We were figuring out whom the seats were reserved for. We waited for the second bell and there was still no one seated within the 3 rows. HAHA! So, we got comfy and chose the best seats in the hall, right smack in the middle of the upper deck. It did feel like we were seated in the middle of nowhere, partly because the "Reserved" seats were still empty. Sir saw us from below and *moves finger up and down*

Think about this, we got to watch a concert for FREE and got the BEST seats in the house! What more can we ask for? They played Phantom of the Opera! It was soooo magical! I so want to play that for next year's concert. Think I must be influenced by Jenn. Just remember that her DVD still with me!

It was not until the giving out of the token of appreciation when we realised those people seated behind us in the "Reserved" area were actually distinguished conductors from overseas! HAHA! We couldn't stop laughing after that revelation. *WHOOPS*

XOXO, SMK
