FAVOURITISM..a word so commonly used in MY dictionary with a huge impact on MY life. it hate it i hate it I HATE IT!! why does it have to be this way?! i cant take it anymore. it's like so freaking obvious! damn.
is PSLE more important than 'O' levels?! a question i often ask myself. staying at home for this 3 months wasnt easy. i was given the task to teach or help her with her schoolwork while keeping the house clean. i have no complains about that but i feel that studying should be based on ur own will and independence..considering that she's 12 this yr. if there's anything you're not sure about, take initiative and ASK! i just dont understand. why need people like me to scream in ur face before u get down to work? i know it's my responsibility but u must also have initiative, considering u'r a student leader in school. but my issue is not about this.
the worst of the worst happened yesterday. her teacher called my mum and complained that she's slacking in class. obviously, a few minutes later i got a scolding from Her. ok great i was blamed that i didnt do my job and everything's MY fault. but seriously, it all boils down to the fact whether she wants to have gd results for her exams or whether she has the fire to study hard. so yeah..She blamed me. deep down in my heart, i sense biasness but i still did what i do best..SHUT UP.
when i was in sec 3, i flunked my a.maths so badly, worst in class that i had a reputation in class. 9/80 something that i'm not very proud of. the point is, did She care?! i still had to study on my own, no tutor whatsoever. so i relied on my friends, teachers or the hwa chong instituition students.
then comes sec 4, my maid got sent back and we had to take care of the chores at home. i didnt complain much cos' it's partly my responsibility. there were even times i was afraid i had no time to study. even up to 2days before my a.maths paper 1, i was still doing chores-although it was lesser. then i had a break to study.
now compare this. she's P6 this year. and it's only the beginning of the year and she's excused from doing most of the chores already! WHAT THE HECK. haix. it just pisses me off. there were other occasions that this had happened, this isnt the 1st time.
